Ambulances Across America How the PFC ambulance program works! Once an ambulance is donated we repair and stock the ambulance, and then ready
it for transport to Honduras or other countries in Central America. In the last two years PFC has brought more
then twenty ambulances to Central America, and has opened over seven chapters of Paramedics For Children in Honduras
alone. We have trained over 250 volunteers in both Honduras and Guatemala. Last year we ran over 800 emergency
calls and saved the lives of over 500 people. Ours is not a give away program, but rather a program whereby a community can
form and develop an all volunteer rescue squad that is not only supported by it's members but by the community
it serves. We are constantly looking for these ambulances and many Paramedic, and fire departments
across the country come to our aid by donating their ambulances that are being retired from service. If you know
of a service that is looking to donate any EMS vehicles or related equipment please have them contact us.
