2008 Ambulances finally arrive!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our 2008 ambulance shipment to Honduras. This year we had five ambulances to deliver. As usual the ambulances were filled with medical supplies, toys, and clothing for the children. This years total donations so far are in excess of 120,000 worth of ambulances and medical supplies. Almost all the ambulances made it on time this year with the exception of one unit that developed a transmission problem.

We would like to take this time to thank all of the many wonderful people who helped us to get these ambulances to Honduras. Without the donors and the volunteers to bring them here none of this could have happened. Shown here on this page are two of the ambulances that arrived at our headquarters here in Copan Ruinas this week. All ambulances this year were donated to the Honduras National Network of Fire Fighters.
